The Seniors Matter initiative addresses the loneliness experienced by many seniors by connecting them with volunteers in a mentorship-style program. Through partnerships with local high schools and senior living facilities, volunteers commit to visiting seniors weekly to provide companionship and build meaningful connections. Additionally, the initiative will host group events throughout the year, such as holiday parties, movie nights, and bingo nights, fostering community and enriching the lives of seniors.
